To remove pet waste, use a shovel, a dog poop bag or pooper scooper. Then rinse with a hose, use a paper towel, apply on the dirty surface, a mixture of water and mild household detergent that will not damage the fibres of the grass, then rinse thoroughly with water.

For bad smells, you can opt for cleaning with vinegar and water or cleaning products specially designed to fight against the smell of urine. There are several anti-urine sprays. You can also spread odour neutralizing granules on your synthetic grass.

These recommendations are also effective for cleaning food too (sauces, drinks: alcohol, coffee).

Here is the best way to clean stubborn stains (cooking or tanning oil) : use ammonia mixed with water or mineral gasoline to remove the stain.
